Summers spent at the Jersey Shore taught me something I’ve never forgotten—life comes in waves. Sometimes you ride them. Sometimes you dive them. And in between, there’s a moment—a breath, a pause, a reset. That’s where the glow lives.

 

Through the years, I learned something else: Support doesn’t always show up when you need it most. So I stopped waiting for it—and started building it for myself. From hospital stays to heartbreaks, I’ve had to become my own first responder.
 

That’s what inspired Bougie Vida. Not self-care for the moment, but self-support as a way of life. Simple tools that help you remember to pause, reset, and shift into how you want to feel. 

 

Now, living at the beach again, I return to that rhythm daily. The waves still come—but I meet them differently now. With intention. With presence. With glow.
