🌿 THE RITUAL:

1. Gently brush or comb your hair to remove knots before wetting, preventing breakage.

2. Drench hair with lukewarm water for at least a minute to open pores and prepare for cleansing.

3. Apply a quarter-sized amount of shampoo on wet scalp and hair.

4. Massage it into the scalp ONLY, don't put shampoo on your hair and ends - it can dry out your hair. Use a silicone scalp massager to distribute shampoo and stimulate the scalp.

5. To create a rich, foamy lather add a little more water to your scalp, not shampoo.  Rinse, thoroughly with lukewarm water.

6. Shampoo your scalp twice, first to remove dirt and the second to nourish your scalp.

7.  Follow with conditioner (optional), focusing only on mid-lengths to ends—never on the scalp.  Let the conditioner sit for a few minutes to work its magic.

8. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm (or cooler) water until your hair no longer feels slippery.

9. Gently squeeze water out with a microfiber towel or wrap in a microfiber turban. Avoid cotton towels to reduce breakage and frizz.

10. Apply any hair mists, heat protectants or styling products as needed.
