In therapy, my question was always the same: How do I carry this into everyday life with so many external influences pulling at me? Because yes, it’s simple—be present.
But then the sharks start biting. The vampires drain your energy. The drama llamas pull you into fight, flight, or freeze. And the tornado swirls, pulling in everything you’ve tried to keep out.
It’s never-ending. And when you’re caught in it, presence doesn’t feel possible.
